How can I order by talking to a real, live person?

We love talking to customers!  Please feel free to call us toll free at (888) 518-6690 or at (619) 518-6690 at anytime.  We usually answer the phone between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Pacific time.  If we don't answer, please leave a message and we'll call you back.  You may also email us with your phone number and a convenient time to call and we’ll call you.  For international customers the best way to contact us is by email.

I would like to order, but I don’t want to use my Credit Card, can I pay another way?

We also accept personal checks and money orders.  Please print our order form (Adobe PDF), fill it out, and mail it with payment to:

What is the Sales Tax in La Mesa, CA?

La Mesa is in San Diego County and as of January 1st 2002, Sales Tax is 7.75%

Do you ship internationally?  

Yes, we love international customers.  You may email us for an international shipping quote. International orders placed without first obtaining a shipping quote will have the shipping charges adjusted accordingly without consultation and be sent out.  All custom charges, duties and/or taxes are the responsibility of recipient.

Is there an extra shipping charge to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico? 

No.  Almost all items are sent USPS so there is no extra charge for Alaskan, Hawaiian, or Puerto Rican customers; or American Samoa, the Marshall Islands, North Mariana Island, the U.S. Virgin Islands,  Palau, or Guam.  

Is there and extra charge to ship to APO and FPO addresses?

No, while these packages require a customs form, they are only subject to domestic USPS rates.

How quickly will my order be shipped?

We ship orders every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday (subject to change if Monday or Friday is a holiday).  Orders placed before 11 am on those days will usually go out the same day.  Orders with shipping charges under $4.60 or weighing less than 1 lb are usually sent by First Class Mail. 

Do you ship any faster than Priority Mail?

Priority Mail usually takes 2-3 days but if you need your order sooner, your goodies can be sent overnight Express Mail for an additional fee.  Express Mail starts at $16.25.  Please call us if you would like to arrange for overnight service.

What is your return policy? 

We understand that sometimes customers need to return items.  If you have purchased an item with tags, it must be returned with all of its tags.  Please package all returning items securely.  If an uninsured returning item is broken when we receive it, you will not be given a refund.  If an item breaks on its way to you, it will be replaced and shipped for free.  If you are returning an item for exchange, your new item(s) will be shipped for 1/2 the cost of actual shipping.  Please call or email us before sending a return.

What is the guarantee on the Hurley?

If your Hurley is destroyed from a dog chewing on it, please return it, postage paid, with proof of purchase and return address to:

At the discretion of West Paw, they will determine that the damage was caused by a dog and not something else like the lawn mower, and a new Hurley will be sent out to you, free of  charge.

Is there an actual 18 Toes store that I can shop at? 

Currently no, but if you are in the San Diego area, please call or email us to visit and shop our storeroom.  We work out of our house but customers are always welcome.  Also, throughout the year we have vendor booths at charity fundraisers in and around San Diego.  If you are a local customer, you may arrange for free delivery if you wish.

Can I be on your mailing list?

Absolutely!  Please send us an email and we'll send you once-a-month notices of new products, sales, & events.  We do not sell our mailing list.

What is your Privacy and Security Policy? 

We respect our customers’ privacy.  We do not and will not give any personal information of any kind to third parties--you will never be added to a mailing list without your consent.  All Credit Card transactions are encrypted.  We will not release any Credit Card information over the phone to anyone. 

Who runs 18 Toes?

I have a coupon, how do I redeem it? 

To redeem a coupon, please enter the redemption code next to your first name when you check out.  You may also call your order in and mention your coupon code. 

Is gift wrapping available? 

Yes, if your purchase is a gift, please contact us and we will gift wrap the items and even include a gift card if you’d like—all for free!

Does 18 Toes give charitable donations?

Yes, but due to the volume of requests, we have chosen to donate to our local animal charities only.  And a portion of every purchase goes to the Zoological Society of San Diego.

I have a product I think 18 Toes would be interested in, how do I send information?
